During May this year, the CEO of Alea Global Group, Mohammad Al Duaij, together with Alan MacLeod, CEO, Pure energy (REGen) Ltd, visited the newly built, fully-automated, Jones Food Company (JFC) vertical farming production facility (JFC2), located in Lydney, UK.
Pure energy are the assigned project advisors for the project development phases for a new Sustainable Infrastructure Development Project currently planned to be located within Kuwait, and JFC are appointed technology partners.
Together, the partnership will revolutionise the way Kuwait produces both energy and food in future, based on a sustainable approach to food production through the application of advanced technology and whole system change.

With biogas plants and effective plastic waste segregation, it is possible to turn waste into useable energy.
The general public can also become involved in this process, leading to new and positive waste recycling behaviours.
This pioneering project, with technology from Agrivert, Jones Food Company and Biofabrik, will increase indigenous food production in the Arabian Gulf Region, by creating a sustainable solution through an innovative combination of advanced technology applications, combined with a circular economy based agritech approach.
