Waste to Energy – Visit to Biofabrik GmbH “WASTX” DEMO Site, Kent

Together with prospective clients, our CEO, Alan MacLeod attended a site visit to the Biofabrik GmbH plastic recycling facility, located in Kent and operated by QMRE Ltd, to witness the processing capability of the demonstration WASTX™ Technology unit.

Dave Garbett, Director, QMRE Ltd, provided a tour of the waste processing facility together with updates on current plastic feedstock Research and Development progress.

Biofabrik Recycled Gas Power Generation Unit

The modular WASTX™ Plastic technology converts plastic waste into a recycled oil product, used as raw material for further plastics production, turning problematic waste into a valuable blended component.

The containerised, fully automated, and highly profitable WASTX™ Plastic technology processes up to 5,000 kg of polyolefins per day per module.
