Innovation Zero

Innovation Zero

Climate & Clean Tech Congress – Location: London, 24th & 25th May 2023

Innovation Zero is a platform for action to mitigate climate change.

The event put policymakers next to innovators who need the funding to scale up the commercialization of low carbon solutions, so that leaders from public and private sectors can deploy decarbonization solutions in their supply chains, in order to hit the UK legal target of emissions reductions.

Alan MacLeod, CEO, Pure energy attended the Innovation Zero conference in London.

Innovation is the best weapon in the fight against climate change, and ‘Innovation Zero’ shines the light on new solutions from energy, transport, industries, finance, and the built environment sectors.

Discovering latest innovations

Innovation Zero showcased cutting-edge clean technology innovations from the UK and around the world. From digital twins, smart grids, and energy storage to sustainable materials such as bioplastics and circular materials, all the innovations at the conference were making an impact in the transformation to a low carbon economy.

Alan visited Celsius Energy, Levidian and Kantar Advisory Partners stands to discuss potential geothermal energy generation and hydrogen production projects.

Networking with Peers

The conference provided an excellent opportunity to network with other senior leaders, innovators, funders, and policymakers. Prior to the event, the attendees were requested to update their business profile on the ‘Innovation Zero’ App. Attendees were able to find like-minded businesses on the App and schedule meetings with them during the event.

Alan was approached by 18 companies, and the conversations shared have since sown the seeds of potential business collaboration in the future, with respect to delivering low carbon heating solutions and technologies.
